Prerequisite: A task must already exist.
¤ The Process Devices dialog includes Version Control (if this option was ordered) after clicking Run.
The Task runs normally on the PSV7000 while the Archived Job is being created.
Note: MORE about Archived Job creation and programmer hardware validation.
After the AH700 software runs, TaskLink displays a message indicating that the Archived Job was created successfully.
After the Archived Job is created, the Administrator typically tests the devices that were programmed when the Task ran and completes any other qualification steps necessary to ensure that devices were programmed correctly.
Once this qualification process is complete, the Administrator sets the state flag for the Archived Job to "Ready" with the Change State button in the Task Manager or by right clicking the mouse when the Archived Job is selected.
¤ Archived Jobs appear in green in the Task Manager dialog.
The Archived Job is also available for selection by an Operator using the Operator Dialog.
In addition to changing the Archived Job’s state between "In Work" and "Ready," the Administrator can view Archived Job properties, run an Archived Job, or delete an Archived Job from the Task Manager dialog. Other than these actions, Archived Jobs cannot be edited.
Note: If changes are needed, the Administrator must delete the existing Archived Job, modify the Task from which the Archived Job was created, and then repeat the process described above.
Each Archived Job is stored in a separate sub-directory under the Archived Jobs Directory specified by the Administrator in the Task Manager dialog. Unlike Tasks, Archived Jobs are not contained in one file.
¤ Show Archived Jobs is checked in the Task Manager.
