Task Tab

Go to Tab...

 

The Task tab (available from the Edit Task dialog) includes the following features:

Name - name for the programming Task.

Description - description for the programming Task, or, if Confirm Input Device is deployed, a value that matches the devices description. Typically it is the raw material part number of input devices.

Programmer Type - displayed as a drop-down list, choose from the available programmer types.

Message Number -number of the Message that is displayed when this Task is run. See How to How to Add Operator Messages for more information.

View - click to display the Message text.

Primary Device - device to be processed. The Primary Device selected sets the options for programming operations. Selecting a Device.

FootNotes - click to display the Footnotes for the currently selected Primary Device. The Footnotes window commonly displays the Socket Adapter number corresponding to the select Primary Device.

Alternate Devices (Optional) - other devices to process. Wild cards work in these fields, or use the arrow to go to the Select Device dialog.
