This safety enhancement (part of the optional Automotive Performance Pak in AH700) requests input media information via a hand held scanner each time the input media is changed.
When a job starts or when the input media (such as Tape-In or Tray stacker) is empty and a another loaded, the operator must scan a bar code to continue. This bar code must match the value that was setup in the Task as the Task Description. Typically it is the raw material part number of the devices.
¤ The text in the Description field in the Edit Task dialog must match the input media information scanned by the operator.
